Another family member had one of these swings and LOVED it. We call this the "magic swing" - calms baby right away. Operation is quiet and consistent. Entry and exit for baby are simple yet secure. Can't imagine living without it!

Apparently this swing is a popular one. I bought it after several recommendations from friends and so far it looks good. I can't say for sure if my kid really like it or not yet. The option to swing in both directions is awesome. The one thing I have gripes about is that the swing only operates on batteries. I wish it had the AC option too, I am planning to rig it up for AC operation using an adapter and hooking it to the battery compartment. Another improvement they could add to the swing is the gliding motion but that may raise the price significantly.The swing does occupy a lot of space but the good thing is it's just the base. It's compact at the top.

Strengths:	The quality of the swing is great for the price and it has a lot of features and music.
Weaknesses:	The only weakness is that when the swing is on a surface other than carpet it seems to slide and not stay in place.

All in all the swing is a great product that I would purchase again and I would recommend it to others. Fisher Price stands behind their name and the quality is great.
